Okay. The new book is out at last. You should see it on Amazon, etc very soon (I'm told these things take a few weeks). In the meantime, you can buy it direct from the publisher. Don't be nervous about them being an American company, charging you in dollars... they have a UK distributor, so you shouldn't be waiting for weeks and you shouldn't be paying more than the book's value to get a copy.
You can buy it in hardback or softcover - it's up to you.
Follow this link: www.thestationbook.com.
Please let me know what you think of it. remember it's a work of fiction and does not purport to reflect anything true or real about the ambulance service.....
Oh, and can you all please get your friends to buy it... plug it on Facebook and Twitter... give it a buzz if you like it. I want to do well with this one... it'll encourage me to write another one. I really don't care that I am blatantly plugging it. Nobody else is, so why not me?
Ta!

Plug away !~! You have reason to crow about your success. I eagerly await the electronic edition and am very glad you wrote it.
May be push it when it hits amazon in kindle format.......to remind idiots like me.
Fantastic news Stuart :) congratulations!!
Advice regards buying it: the online bookstore for Xlibris is slightly confusing- one can only enter a US address at the moment. This isn't a problem if you're buying the eBook (make up an address, you download it on the next page), but if you want to buy a hard copy you need to phone them up.
Also, be aware that it seems slightly picky over payment methods- my NatWest Visa debit didn't work, whereas my girlfriend's Halifax Visa debit did... strange.
Settling down with the book now :)
The link for the station is broken :'-(
Hello. The publisher's website allows download of a .epub file. What software would I need to read on a Windows 7 laptop? Thanks
When will it be available on Kindle? I don't do tree books anymore.
The new book is on my wish list!

I found this... hopefully it will help

Don't fret... I'll be selling signed copies directly soon. I'll let you know when on here.
Harry
Thanks for letting me know all that. It'll be on Amazon etc soon and that will solve the problems.
Let me know if you experience any other probs... and give me a review when you've finished! :-)
I would really like a signed copy of this book, hopefully this will be possible. I have heard good things about it.
Interesting stuff.
Getting the kindle version since I'm all for reading things on my ipad or macbook.
It is available now on Kindle now :-D
Just downloaded from the Kindle store and looking forward to reading it all. I will give it a review when finished. It is easier to find by searching for Stuart Gray rather than the title.
I'm about half way through it on my Kindle now, and it's utterly fantastic - well done, Stuart!
Just one comment. It has your name as Stuart Allan Gray in the Kindle store, so it doesn't connect this book with your other two.
I'll be waiting for the signed copy of course. It'll be worth more to the kids on antiques road show in 50 years!
But seriously l look forward to it.
Sue
I know and I've sent numerous not so happy emails to the publisher about this, as it muddies the waters!
The price of the hard cover is also quite horrendous in my opinion - a bad translation of dollars to pounds I reckon.
This is what happens when British publishers shut shop due to the recession and writers are forced to go with American publishers who are geared only, it seems, to a US market!
I'm working on these little problems...

You've been with me for years, so you are biased!
Thank you... you will, of course now know, if you are almost finished, that it's a shocker and not quite what you expected.
Please put your review on Amazon and elsewhere... I want this book all over the place so that I can write another... a sequel...
Looking forward to reading this one - I've only read the preview you released several months ago, and I don't have a kindle, so I'm waiting for the paper copy to become available. A signed copy interests me though - any ideas of the prices of one of those copies? Oh, and any chance of reserving one of those?!
:)
