MIA

Well, kind of. I do apologise to all of you for the dearth of writing but I am on long-term sick leave and need to rest. I will be back as soon as possible and when I know I am ready for it again!

I wouldn't presume why you might be on long term sick at the moment, but I just wanted to say you and your family have been in my thoughts over the past few weeks. No need to say anymore. Take care all of you. Amanda x

*In her best HR woman's voice*

Now, don't you worry about us.......We'll be fine without you for a while.......Don't comeback until you're ready.......But keep those sick notes coming in won't you?

Just kidding. Hope you feel better soon. ;-)

Get well soon Xf.

Properly well mind, no rushing back before you are fully fit. Its not worth it, if you have to go sick again a few days/weeks later.

The shifts around the running, jumping and throwing show are going to be a nightmare.

If you read this, I hope that you get well at a pace that sees you re invigorated and ready to inspire many more.

I'm sorry for you been I'll but I'm wondering could anyone help me please .... Back in 2007 I got a reprimand for theft that I wasn't supposed to get as I did not commit the crime my friend did I was there with her at the time but I did not no I don't even no I had a reprimand till I just did my CRB for a st johns volunteer also I was wondering wil it prevent me from becoming a paramedic I was 10/11 at the time HELP me please !!

Don't worry too much at this stage. Be honest about your CRB if you apply for jobs. Most employers, including the ambulance services, will take all the facts into consideration before making a decision.

Anonymous,

I'm pretty sure that if you were just a kid at the time, the reprimand won't even be on your CRB anymore. I think they 'wipe the slate clean' when you turn 18, so it doesn't dog you for the rest of your life.

And Stuart, GET WELL SOON!!!!

Get well soon! You are helping me learn so much about being a paramedic already and I have recommended several paramedics I know to read this blog!

Rest up!

Hello again Xf
Just popped in again to see how you are getting on, I'm hoping no news is good news.

As an aside, have you ever written about your earlier days in the other green uniform? I'm guessing there maybe a tale or two.

Best Wishes
